Weekly list view

When you access the Timesheets section of voo:time, it shows each user a summary of all their own timesheets on a weekly basis, so they can quickly see whether they are on track with the time they have recorded so far. It is then simple to access the information for a specific week, in order to record time for a particular date.

Daily time allocation

As a user, you can select the day of the week from the week overview, select the project that you've been working on and enter the amount of time spent on that project. You are also able to include comments relating to the block of time being recorded, so that separate time blocks can be recorded for different elements of your work on the same project, or explanation included in order to clarify the nature of that particular piece of work. All this supports your team leaders and project managers in understanding and managing workload and progress and gives them tools to report back on this. For example, this may include having a conversation with a client if their project is consistently requiring more effort than their contract with you really supports.

Generate daily emails

As a user, you are able to generate a written report of what you have been working on for a particular project on a particular day. You are guided to include notes, questions and blockers, in order to get the most benefit from this communication method. Once saved, the completed form is automatically emailed to all users who are identified as interested parties for the project concerned. This is particularly useful if you have remote workers or distributed teams, as it encourages daily feedback on progress and potential pitfalls, keeping you on top of issues before they get out of hand.

Record time

In essence, voo:time is a timesheet system, designed to help you simply keep track of how much time your team are spending on the different areas and projects within your business. When integrated with voo:project and voo:tracker the combined management information provides even greater insight into the workings of your business, highlighting the genuine successes and improvement opportunities.

Integration with voo:project

When you integrate voo:project with your voo:tracker module, your users can identify and select specific tasks from the project plan and record time time directly against them from within voo:time, so that time is accurately recorded against the correct tasks. This gives your project managers and team leaders timely access to progress and workload information, so they can react rapidly to avert issues.

Integration with voo:tracker

When voo:tracker is integrated with your voo:time module, your users can identify and select specific activities from your activity tracking systems (such as IT tickets or customer service requests) and record time directly against them from within voo:time, so that your management team can see if there are escalating concerns around a particular area and react quickly to prevent further damage.

Reference external tracking systems

If you already have an issue tracking system in place, such as Jira or YouTrack, voo:time can support this by including a dedicated field on the timesheet entry for you to optionally add a reference to a ticket in that external tracking system.

Review time summaries

In voo:time, you are able to view summaries of all time logged against a specific project for the current week, the last five weeks, and the last three months. This helps to give you and your team a quick overview of project activity. You are also able to view a summary for the current week and past five weeks for each user should you wish.
